The heart of Maximora Life. You start with 10 default categories — Faith, Family, Health, Career, Finances, Growth, Relationships, Fun, Impact, Legacy — and add up to 10 goals under each for a balanced blueprint of a fulfilled life.
Managing categories. Open Manage categories on the Goals page to add, rename, recolor, reorder (↑ ↓) or delete any category. The first time you edit a default it's automatically cloned into your own account (your goals are migrated), so nothing shared with other users changes. Deleting a default simply hides it for you.
Three goal types:
- Achievement — one-time wins ("run a marathon", "publish a book"). Progress is % complete.
- Maintenance — ongoing standards ("sleep 7+ hrs", "weekly date night"). You set a desired range, current measurement, and warning threshold; the app scores how well you're holding the line.
- Habit goal — tied to a recurring habit; scored from the habit's streak and consistency.
Importance weighting. Every goal has an importance level (1–5) that increases its contribution to your Maximora Performance Score and Wheel-of-Life health.
